As a Respiratory Therapist at St. Margaret's Center, you'll have the opportunity to provide specialized respiratory care to children and young adults with complex medical needs while working alongside a dedicated team focused on delivering personalized, high-quality care.

As a 94-bed pediatric and young adult skilled nursing facility in Albany, NY, we provide specialized, around-the-clock care while helping residents experience the joys of childhood through education, activities, friendships, and community involvement.

What You'll Do as a Respiratory Therapist:

• Assess, monitor, and provide respiratory care to pediatric and young adult residents with complex medical needs.
• Administer prescribed respiratory treatments, including tracheostomy care and airway management.
• Monitor respiratory status and respond to changes in residents' conditions.
• Collaborate with care team members to develop and support individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and resident responses.
• Follow established clinical, safety, and infection control standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of respiratory care practices, procedures, and clinical standards.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
