What You'll Do

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for newborns and young infants.
• Support healthy feeding, burping, diapering, swaddling, and soothing techniques.
• Follow safe sleep guidelines and infant safety best practices.
• Monitor infant feeding schedules, sleep patterns, and developmental milestones.
• Assist with bottle preparation, breast milk handling, and sanitizing feeding equipment.
• Perform light newborn-related household duties such as baby laundry, bottle washing, and nursery organization.
• Support parents by establishing healthy routines and providing education when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed communication regarding feedings, sleep, diaper changes, and overall infant well-being.
• Provide compassionate care while respecting each family's parenting preferences.

Requirements

• At least three years of professional infant or newborn childcare experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Current CPR certification required.
• SIDS/Safe Sleep certification required (or willingness to obtain before beginning assignments).
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working overnight shifts when needed.
• Comfortable around household pets.
• No additional children may accompany caregivers during assignments
