Job Details

• Position: Cath Lab Technician
• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 6:45 AM–5:00 PM or 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Contract Length: 91 weeks (as listed)
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Radiologist/PA during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Perform angiography and complex vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Select appropriate imaging parameters and operate imaging equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the authorized scope of practice.
• Monitor patients and report abnormal activity during procedures.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Monitor imaging protocols and recommend improvements when needed.

Required Certifications

• BLS: AHA or American Red Cross, required within 30 days of hire.
• CCI Cardiographic Technician credential: Required before hire.
• ARRT Radiography credential: Required before hire.
• RCIS (CCI): Required within 180 days of hire.

Preferred Certifications

• Advanced Life Support (ALS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Required Skills

• Cath Lab imaging and procedural assistance.
• Angiography and interventional imaging procedures.
• Patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of contrast media and medication safety.
• Radiation safety and compliance with clinical protocols.
• Ability to recognize and report abnormal patient conditions.
• Ability to assist physicians during complex procedures.
