Physical Therapist (PT)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Options include 5x8s with flex weekend coverage (2–3 days/month) or 4x10s (Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat); no self-scheduling; rotating holidays
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of 8–10 patients per day across ED and Med Surg areas
- Treat a variety of case types including total joints, CVA, CHF, COPD, and sepsis
- Apply clinical knowledge of pathology and lab values to guide patient care decisions
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and communicate patient progress
- Work alongside PTAs as part of the therapy team
- Active Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience (outside of clinical rotations/internships)
- Strong understanding of pathology, lab values, and interdisciplinary communication
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- No more than 5 days of requested time off
- Prior experience in acute inpatient settings
- Familiarity with total joint, neurological, and cardiopulmonary patient populations
- Experience collaborating with PTAs in a team-based care model
