Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with an average daily census of 10 patients across 7 rooms and 14 beds
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Be available for on-call shifts depending on patient census
• Float to Medical-Surgical and Orthopedics units as needed
• Commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to start and annually thereafter

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience (at least 1 year required)
• Active California RN license required — pending licenses are not accepted; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Seasoned traveler preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• RTO requests limited to no more than 7 days total
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered under separate terms)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience floating to Medical-Surgical or Orthopedics units
• Familiarity with high-census Labor and Delivery environments
