Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU/PCU setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill and progressive care patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid in the state of Nebraska or through a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• ICU or PCU clinical experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Ability to meet facility performance expectations throughout the duration of the contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience in a combined ICU/PCU or step-down unit environment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity settings
