Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-room, 19-bed/chair Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients presenting with emergency conditions including trauma, stroke, and chest pain
• Document patient care accurately using MEDHOST EMR
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Adhere to department protocols; no floating and no call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (must meet state requirements)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• PALS certification (AHA or ARC)
• TNCC certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with trauma, stroke, and chest pain patient populations
• Familiarity with MEDHOST EMR
