Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 45-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit serving cardiac and acute inpatient populations
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Maintain night-shift patient ratios of 1:5–6, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout the shift
• Participate in 1 call shift per 8-week block as required by the unit
• Work every other weekend, including willingness to work holidays as required
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Maine or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry or related acute inpatient setting
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac monitoring and acute inpatient care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) experience preferred
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR
