Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Title: Sr. Supplier Engineer

Duration: 6+ Months (Possible extension)

Location: Arden Hills, MN 55112

Onsite Role

Responsibilities:

• Strong evidence of technical documentation, SOPs, regulated environments, technical writing and cross-functional coordination.
• Looking for process support across a wide range of technology specialties. Very documentation focused.
• Strong technical aptitude to negotiate procedures and convey tech changes under the guidance of an SME as needed
• Important that they are conscientious and organized from a project and time management perspective
• Works cooperatively with R&D, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, and Supply Chain on complex projects to ensure project success.
• Consistently generates innovative and unique solutions to meet department goals.
• Successfully completes complex engineering work and contributes to new product development teams and product support, typically including the following activities: test of materials or products, preparation of specifications, Six Sigma, process study, and report preparation.
• Summarizes, analyzes, and draws conclusions from complex test results.
• Designs and prepares complex reports and communicates results to the technical community.
• Designs and coordinates complex engineering tests and experiments.
• Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products, or equipment.
• Leads cross-functional project teams.
• Develops and/or provides work direction to technicians or engineers at key suppliers. Actively manages project and deliverable timelines with those supplier.

Education/Experience:

• Supplier Engineer experience 5 - 8 Years with BS
• Materials Engineer, Mechanical Engineer and Electrical Engineer degrees only.
• Semi-conductor and supply chain knowledge.
• Familiarity with excel, jmp and minitab
