Housekeeper - Baptist 2nd Shift - Now Hiring

Job Description

We are currently hiring Housekeepers to join a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position is responsible for cleaning and preparing patient rooms after discharge to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for incoming patients.

The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or environmental services experience and be comfortable working on their feet throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean patient rooms after discharge.
• Disinfect bathrooms, beds, furniture, and high-touch surfaces.
• Change linens, make beds, and flip mattresses as needed.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors.
• Remove trash and transport linen bags to designated disposal areas.
• Clean isolation rooms while following safety procedures.
• Wear appropriate PPE when required.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards and pass quality inspections.
• Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, EVS, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Comfortable lifting heavy linen bags.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends as scheduled.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
