  • Contribute to budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations, including parts usage, contractor support, and capital planning.
  • Train, mentor, and coach team members to improve technical skills, safety practices, and overall performance.
  • Assist with maintenance scheduling and resource planning to align staffing and work priorities with production needs.

  • Ability to read and interpret ladder diagrams and work confidently with PLC systems.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including 480V power distribution and equipment hookups.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues with CNC controls and related automation components.

  • Desire and capability to grow into a management role over time, with a clear path toward a Maintenance Manager position.
  • Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled industrial shop setting.
  • Reliability and accountability in adhering to attendance and workplace policies, including point-based disciplinary systems.
  • Openness to occasional overtime and weekend work as needed to support production demands.
Why Work Here?

You join a stable, growing manufacturing operation that invests in its people through comprehensive benefits and clear career paths. Full medical coverage through a major provider supports your health and peace of mind, while profit sharing and annual raises recognize and reward your contributions. The facility offers first-shift hours with evenings free for most roles, supporting a strong work-life balance, and provides a 10% shift premium for night work. Work Environment

The role is based in a smaller CNC shop with approximately 30 employees working across two shifts, creating a close-knit, collaborative atmosphere. The facility is a non-climate-controlled industrial environment with typical shop conditions such as machine noise and active production lines. Core hours for the primary shift are 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for a standard 50-hour workweek, with the position structured as salaried and additional hourly compensation for work beyond 50 hours. There is potential for overtime as needed, including occasional weekend work roughly once every few months to support operational needs. The workplace uses CNC machinery, automated lines, PLC-controlled systems, and 480V electrical equipment, requiring adherence to safety procedures and appropriate industrial attire suitable for a manufacturing shop. The organization follows a structured attendance and conduct policy with a point system that escalates from verbal warnings to written warnings and, ultimately, termination at higher point levels, promoting a consistent and accountable work culture.
