School-Based Physical Therapist - Elgin, IL

This position centers on supporting the physical development of approximately 10-15 students across one to two school sites close to Elgin, IL. With a consistent schedule of two days per week from 7:20 a.m. to 2:35 p.m., you'll foster meaningful progress while maintaining work-life balance.

Your expertise will ensure students receive the individualized attention they need to succeed, whether you're developing therapy plans, collecting important progress data, or collaborating closely with the IEP team to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist licensure in Illinois required
• Experience in school settings or with pediatrics preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, especially with interdisciplinary teams
• Skill in creating tailored therapy plans based on individual student needs
• Ability to organize, collect, and report data effectively

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students, supporting their physical and functional development
• Develop and adapt therapy plans in line with each student’s goals and IEP requirements
• Gather and interpret data to track student progress, making timely adjustments as needed
• Participate as an active member of the IEP team by sharing insights and recommendations
• Maintain accurate records and ensure ongoing communication with school staff and families
