Per Diem School Registered Nurse | Chesterfield, Missouri

The district is assembling a close-knit pool of RNs to provide as-needed coverage for call outs, unexpected leave, and short-notice assignments. Your clinical expertise, especially if you have seizure management experience, will be highly valued as you deliver compassionate care during critical moments.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• At least one year of recent nursing experience; prior experience in school settings is a plus
• Experience working 1:1 with pediatric or adolescent populations preferred
• Comfort supporting students with complex medical needs; experience with seizures is highly desirable
• Able to respond to emergencies efficiently and remain calm under pressure
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized medical care to assigned students, including daily health management and emergency response
• Administer medications, monitor health conditions, and implement care plans
• Communicate with parents, educators, and healthcare providers as needed
• Maintain accurate health records for assigned students
• Work collaboratively within a small, flexible pool of substitute nurses
