Key Qualifications:

• Active Substitute Certificate on DESE OR passing Paraprofessional exam results on file with diploma
• Experience working in schools, particularly with student behavioral needs
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites
• Willingness to cover fingerprinting costs required by the district (approximately $45)
• Flexibility to transition between multiple school locations throughout the year as assignments shift

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support students in classroom, small group, and one-to-one settings
• Collaborate closely with educators to deliver instructional and behavioral assistance
• Positively reinforce appropriate behaviors and implement intervention strategies as directed
• Maintain accurate records, follow guidelines, and ensure student safety at all times
• Assist with daily activities and adapt to evolving classroom and building needs

Assignment Information:

• Middle school schedule: 7:00am – 2:30pm
• Elementary school schedule: 8:30am – 3:55pm
• Immediate start date through late May
• Interview process includes prescreening and district interview
