School Physical Therapist | Romeoville, Illinois

Multiple positions are available, and while full-time schedules are preferred, part-time candidates will also be considered. Key Qualifications:

• Hold either a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT)
• Active Illinois Physical Therapy License required
• Experience delivering PT services in school settings, including work with both general and special education populations
• Ability to travel between multiple schools across a varied weekly schedule
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with a collaborative approach to working with educational teams

Your Impact:

• Serve 35-45 students per caseload by conducting evaluations, writing reports, and developing individualized PT treatment plans
• Provide direct and consultative therapy in both self-contained and general education programs
• Train staff and students in the use of mobility and positioning equipment and support physical independence
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and nurses to ensure quality student-centered care
• Complete thorough daily documentation, progress monitoring, and goal updates for each student
• Adapt your approach as you work across elementary through transition programs, fostering each student’s participation in school life
