Occupational Therapist School Setting in Dubach, LA

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Louisiana
• School-based OT experience preferred
• Comfort and willingness to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Background in conducting PreK evaluations is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality OT services to students across two school campuses each week
• Prepare and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
• Conduct PreK assessments on designated Fridays to help guide instructional interventions
• Accurately document student progress in alignment with school and compliance standards
• Supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), offering direction and support
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care
• Maintain flexibility, adapting to the evolving needs of students and school staff
