Registered Nurse (RN) - Forensics- PRN

\n Summary:\n

\n The Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) is a specially trained Registered Nurse who is responsible for providing timely, non-judgmental, and compassionate care to adult, adolescent, and/or pediatric victims of interpersonal violence and to perpetrators of criminal acts that present to Carroll Hospital Center. These responsibilities include forensic examination and documentation, prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, photographic documentation, referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up, and participation in legal proceedings. The Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) works under the direction of the Adult and/or Pediatric Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) Medical Director and the Coordinator of Forensic Services and is expected to follow established policies and protocols.\n
