Delivery Driver - French Cleaners

Location: West Hartford, CT.
Employment type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-330PM
Pay: $20-$25 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications

French Cleaners is seeking a dependable delivery driver to pick up and deliver customers' garments safely, accurately, and courteously throughout Hartford county. Our delivery service operates a fleet of medium-sized vans, offering dependable and flexible transportation solutions to our customers, no CDL license required.

Essential responsibilities

• Safely operate the delivery vehicle and comply with traffic and parking laws.
• Pick up and deliver garments according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Load, unload, carry, and organize garments and related items.
• Verify orders, maintain accurate delivery records, and promptly report discrepancies.
• Obtain required signatures or other proof of delivery.
• Keep the vehicle and garment-storage areas clean and orderly.
• Report accidents, vehicle problems, and safety concerns promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service.
• Perform other job-related duties reasonably associated with the position.

Minimum qualifications

• Hold a current driver's license valid for the class of vehicle used in this position.
• Be able to perform the position's essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Demonstrate safe driving practices and reliability.
• Be able to follow routes, written instructions, and order-tracking procedures.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified after hire as required by federal law.
