Position: Patient Intake & Data Entry Specialist

Location Options: Rochester Hills, Madison Heights, Port Huron, Ferndale, Lincoln Park, or Saginaw, MI

Pay Rate:

• $18.25/hr (Rochester Hills, Madison Heights, Port Huron, Ferndale, Lincoln Park)

Start Date: ASAP

Interview Process: One virtual MS Teams interview

Training: 2 weeks of virtual training with a corporate trainer

Position Overview

Our healthcare client is seeking detail-oriented individuals to join their Patient Intake & Data Entry team. This position is primarily focused on supporting patient administration efforts and helping reduce departmental backlogs through accurate data entry and record management. This is a behind-the-scenes role with limited customer interaction and no insurance-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter patient information into internal healthcare systems
• Intake new patients and create patient records
• Accurately enter patient demographics and documentation
• Upload and organize documents within patient files
• Process incoming faxed orders and enter information into the system
• Support appointment scheduling activities
• Follow established procedures and work instructions to ensure accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Strong data entry skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to maintain focus and accuracy throughout the day
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and processes
• Strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous healthcare office or medical administrative experience
• Experience working with patient records or EMR systems

This is a Contract position based out of Port Huron, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $18.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
