Shift Supervisor -Growing Seafood Brand - Now Hiring

Fjord Fish Market is a sustainability-focused seafood market and sushi shop. We’re looking for a Shift Supervisor to lead the team on the floor, support the General Manager, and keep every shift running smoothly from open to close.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the team on your shift, delegate tasks, and make sure every station is covered
• Jump in at the fish counter, kitchen, sushi, grab-and-go, and register as needed
• Set the tone for warm, knowledgeable customer service
• Handle receiving, prep lists, case setup, and merchandising to Fjord standards
• Enforce food safety and sanitation standards and keep shift logs up to date
• Manage closing tasks like stock counts, purchase orders, cash deposits, and waste logs
• Train new team members and keep the GM in the loop on product, staffing, and customer issues

What we’re looking for:

• 1+ year in food retail, grocery, seafood, or restaurants
• Someone who leads by example and keeps a team motivated
• Solid knowledge of food handling and sanitation
• Organized and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in cold environments
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler’s Certification, or willingness to get it

Strong Shift Supervisors are on track for General Manager and District Manager roles as we grow.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years or older
