About this job
Job Description
Warehouse is located 4 miles off of the 144th St and I-80 interchange
Join U.S. AutoForce, part of U.S. Venture, Inc., a century-strong leader supplying tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire dealers, repair shops, and dealerships. If you like staying active, serving customers, and keeping the roadways moving, this hybrid driving-and-warehouse role is for you.
A day in this roleStart your shift by inspecting your assigned box truck (under 26,001 lbs) and confirming your 10–20-stop route on a company-provided handheld. You’ll head out to deliver tires, undercar components, and lubricants, keeping meticulous delivery and fuel logs along the way. At each stop, you’ll communicate clearly with customers, collect payments when needed, and make on-time deliveries in all weather. Between runs, you’ll help the team load and unload, using pallet jacks, order pickers, or a forklift as required. Expect to be on your feet and moving—lifting 50 lbs frequently and up to 80 lbs occasionally—with occasional pushing force up to 40 lbs when handling barrels. Most days run 8–12 hours, and some Saturdays rotate in based on business needs.
Pay and schedule- 1st Shift ($19/hr): Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm (or until work is completed)
- 2nd Shift ($20/hr): Sunday–Thursday, 4:00pm–12:30am (or until work is completed)
Overtime and rotating Saturdays are required as needed. Schedules may adjust to meet business demand.
What you’ll tackle- Operate a non‑CDL box truck safely and professionally across assigned routes (10–20 deliveries/day)
- Maintain accurate logs (driver, fuel purchase, and other records) per company policy and applicable laws
- Perform thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections
- Use a handheld device to confirm deliveries and capture required documentation
- Assist with loading/unloading; operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers when needed
- Deliver in all weather conditions while meeting time and safety standards
- Collect customer payments upon delivery when required
- Take on other related tasks as directed by your supervisor (reasonable accommodations available)
- Competitive pay with bi‑weekly payroll
- Work boot reimbursement
- Quarterly safe‑driving bonus opportunity
- Health coverage begins your first day
- 401(k) with generous employer contribution and match
- Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays
- On‑the‑job training and skills development
- Tuition reimbursement
- Employee discount programs
You’ll frequently lift about 50 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs, and at times exert up to 40 lbs of push force (for example, when moving barrels). Commercial tires may require rolling, de‑stacking, and team lifts or mechanical assistance.
Required PPE: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self‑retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. Lubricants except for steel/composite toe boots. Follow all manufacturer and company safety guidelines for compliant use.
Work conditions vary with the weather; noise is typically moderate. You may encounter fumes associated with oil and occasionally lubricants.
What you bring- Age 21+ (company policy)
- At least 1 year of professional driving (cube van/box truck/semi) and successful completion of a company road test
- Ability to be trained on and safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high‑reach lifts
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company policy
- Strength and stamina to lift 50 lbs frequently and up to 80 lbs occasionally
- Capability to push up to 40 lbs when working with barrels and industrial/ag tires
- Follows instructions and safe operating procedures
- Customer‑service mindset with clear, professional communication
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test (no THC/marijuana testing)
- Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines (see DOT/FMCSA website for full requirements)
- Loading and Unloading Vehicles
- Meets Physical Requirements
