Alcohol and Drug Counselor – LADC / ADC-T

Pay: $35–$40 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Amazing Health LLC is seeking LADCs and ADC-Ts to provide outpatient substance use disorder treatment. We offer competitive hourly pay and a benefits package that supports employees’ health, time off, and professional licensure.

Position Summary
The counselor provides comprehensive assessments, individual and group counseling, treatment planning, care coordination, and clinical documentation. This position works collaboratively with the treatment team to provide individualized, evidence-based care.
Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments and develop treatment recommendations.
• Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices.
• Complete initial service plans, individual treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment goals and interventions as needed.
• Coordinate care and referrals with providers and community resources.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Procentive.
• Follow Minnesota DHS 245G requirements, confidentiality standards, and agency policies.
• Participate in clinical consultation and staff meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Current Minnesota LADC license or ADC-T permit.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment planning, and evidence-based counseling approaches.
• Strong clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a treatment team.
• Commitment to providing respectful, culturally responsive services to clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing outpatient substance use disorder treatment.
• Familiarity with Minnesota DHS 245G requirements.
• Experience using Procentive electronic health records.
