Security Technician

Charleston, Beaufort & Bluffton, SC

$24-$30/hr + Overtime Available

4-Day Work Week (Monday-Thursday)

We're hiring Security & Access Control Technicians to support commercial projects throughout the Lowcountry. You'll work on schools, healthcare facilities, office buildings, government sites, and other commercial environments while gaining experience with modern security technology.

Whether your experience is in access control, CCTV, structured cabling, alarms, telecommunications, or electrical installation, this team is willing to invest in technicians who want to grow.

What You'll Do

• Install and service access control systems
• Install CCTV and surveillance camera systems
• Mount card readers, badge systems, mag locks, and electric strikes
• Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling
• Install door hardware and security devices
• Read blueprints and device layouts
• Troubleshoot system issues and support system startups
• Work alongside experienced technicians and project leaders

Experience We're Looking For

• 1+ year of installation experience in security, low voltage, cabling, electrical, telecom, or related trades
• Comfortable working from ladders and lifts
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
