Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 40 guaranteed hours per week, 182-day assignment
Highlights:
- Lead and oversee daily operations of a multidisciplinary therapy department including PT, OT, and SLP services
- Maintain a partial clinical caseload as a PTA while fulfilling leadership responsibilities
- Serve as primary therapy liaison to facility administration and interdisciplinary care teams
- Develop and promote specialized rehab programs including fall prevention, restorative nursing support, and dementia programming
- Travel opportunity with guaranteed hours and comprehensive leadership experience
- Participate in strategic planning, community outreach, and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
- Director of Rehabilitation certification or eligibility
- Experience in department leadership, staffing, and operations management
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, PDPM, and skilled nursing compliance requirements
- Strong skills in budgeting, performance management, and team development
- Current professional license and continuing education credits
