X-Ray Tech Requirements
- 1 year of experience required, only with experience in a large hospital similar to Providence Saint Vincent
- Large hospital experience preferred; travel experience not required
- Epic experience preferred
- Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
- Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS; Fluoro Permit preferred
- Skills required: Abdomen, upper/lower extremities, spine, pelvis, chest, head, portable X-rays, C-arm procedures, ER, ICU, OR, and adult/pediatric acute care
- Fluoroscopy experience preferred: Barium swallow, enema, ERCP, and upper GI studies
- Equipment: GE, Philips, O-ARM, and PACS preferred
- Must demonstrate infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, contrast administration, and radiation safety skills
