Caregivers Homecare

We are looking for a caregiver for our son Chris who is 42, quadriplegic 75 lbs and is wheelchair bound. The job requires a current LPN certification in good standing. Resume and min of 3 professional work related references. Valid drivers license and background check. Non smoker. Weekend hours, some mornings and evenings. Home and living environment accessible and hoyer lift.

Pay is commensurate with experience and negotiable. Range- $30-$40

Responsibilities

• Provide personal grooming care, including bathing, dressing, feeding and some medications
• Prepare meals according to the client’s needs.
• Activities outside the home such as movies, shopping, outings.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in similar homecare support.
• LPN or RN qualification preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience with activities of daily living assistance and medication management.
• Knowledge of patient safety and care documentation.
• Empathy, strong communication, and reliability.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check.

You will working very closely with our family and in our home. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and is trustworthy and loyal. Extremely organized and detail oriented.
