About the Role:
The Spot Cafe LLC in Saint Augustine, FL is looking for passionate Breakfast and Lunch Cooks to join their kitchen team! Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute breakfast and lunch menu items with consistency and quality
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, and stovetops
- Follow recipes, plating standards, and portion guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service during peak hours
- Monitor food inventory, freshness, and assist with prep work as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and health code regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or short-order cook preferred
- Genuine passion for food and delivering quality dishes consistently
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café kitchen environment
- Solid knowledge of breakfast and lunch cooking techniques
- Strong time management and multitasking skills during rush periods
- Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain one
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
