Job Overview:

The Controller (CPA) will serve as a senior financial manager who is responsible for daily accounting and financial operations and will report directly to the CEO of a mid-sized company.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, inventory

accounting, and general ledger auditing

·         Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and income

statements in accordance with GAAP

·         Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes

·         Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures

·         Partner with department managers to provide insights into cost analysis, production margins, and

inventory management

·         Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements

·         Collaborate with executive management on financial strategy, cash flow management, and capital

investments

Position Requirements:

·         Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

·         5 years of progressive accounting experience; previous experience in a manufacturing environment

preferred

·         Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and standard costing systems

·         Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

·         Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

·         Must be familiar with QuickBooks Desktop accounting software
