Job Summary
Xray Technologist in the healthcare setting, located at a short-term acute care facility, responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, in various units. The position involves float coverage between units with on-call requirements, primarily working days with a schedule of 10-hour shifts.
Job Details

- Location Requirements: Valid state license, compact license must be in hand at submission
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week
- Additional Qualifications: Comfortable performing procedures involving OR and fluoroscopy, experience with O-arm and hybrid units preferred, proficient in Epic charting system, and able to work in fast-paced surgical and fluoroscopy environments.
- Responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging procedures such as abdomen decubitus, supine, upright, chest, extremities, pelvis, hips, and specialized procedures like ERCP and O-arm imaging, ensuring radiation safety, and following infection prevention protocols.
- Additional notes: Candidates may be expected to float between units, with at least 1 year of experience required. Must be able to work the specified schedule and commit to working three of the five holidays. References covering one year are required, and candidates must have current license requirements met.
