X-Ray Tech Job Description
We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Tech to join our team in the Radiology department. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This position involves conducting X-ray examinations and collaborating with medical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities- Perform X-ray examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Ensure proper operation of radiologic equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Position patients accurately and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Cooperate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Follow safety regulations and protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Tech.
- Valid X-Ray Technician certification.
- Ability to travel as needed between locations.
- Availability to work the day shift, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Pending MD license is not applicable for this position.
This position is based in the Radiology department, focusing on X-ray imaging. The role requires interaction with patients and medical personnel, ensuring a supportive and efficient work atmosphere.
Additional InformationThe position does not involve block scheduling. Candidates may work locally within the same business region.
