Histology Tech

Histologist needed for a large hospital in Houston.

Duration: 3-month contract

2 openings. Pos #1: Shift is 11am-7:30pm. Pos #2: Shift is 4:00am – 11:30am

Registered Histotechnician (HT, ASCP) or Histotechnologist (HTL, ASCP).

• Knowledge of hospital and laboratory operations.
• The ability to communicate effectively; exhibit sound independent judgment; basic knowledge of computer functions;
working knowledge of basic special stains and paraffin tissue sectioning; ability to operate at a basic level tissue
processors, stainers, embedding units, cryostats, microscopes and centrifuges.

HT-ASCP - Cert-Histotechnician or HTL-ASCP - Cert-Histotechnologist - Required

Associate's Degree- Science or Histology
