Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift

Location: Columbia City, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM–11:00 PM | Monday–Friday
Pay: $16.00/hour

Job Summary

Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a hands-on opportunity in quality inspection? We're seeking a dependable Quality Inspector to join our team in Columbia City, IN. In this role, you'll perform sorting, inspection, production support, and data entry tasks to help identify and resolve quality issues while ensuring products meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow work instructions while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Work may take place in manufacturing facilities, warehouses, or other customer locations depending on business needs.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Quality Inspector, your core responsibilities will include:

Quality Inspection: Inspect and sort parts to identify quality issues and ensure products meet customer requirements.
Sorting & Production Support: Perform sorting and production-related tasks according to assigned work instructions.
Data Entry: Accurately record and enter inspection and production information as required.
Inspection Equipment: Use measuring, inspection, and testing equipment as needed to complete assigned tasks.
Work Instructions: Read and follow work instructions, workplace rules, and directions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Training & Development: Complete required training classes to maintain knowledge of inspection procedures and quality standards.
Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area while following established employee policies and workplace procedures.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
