What You'll Do

• Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components using hand tools, torque wrenches, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment and components.
• Use multimeters and basic electrical principles (Ohm's Law) to diagnose issues.
• Measure parts with calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to identify defects and maintain quality standards.
• Support material handling, machine operation, and general production activities.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Work with team members to solve problems and meet production goals.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, military, trades, or a technical field.
• Experience using hand tools and mechanical assembly equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills using a multimeter.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods, and wear required PPE.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work weekends and any shift schedule.
• Must be ITAR eligible.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with MES or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis (5 Why's).
• Forklift experience.
• Understanding of OSHA safety practices.
• Previous experience in production, machine operation, quality inspection, or general labor.

12-Hour AWS Shift Schedule

Day Shift

• A Shift: Sunday-Wednesday | 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• B Shift: Thursday-Sunday | 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Night Shift

• C Shift: Sunday-Wednesday | 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
• D Shift: Thursday-Sunday | 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM

This is a Permanent position based out of Bastrop, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35000.00 - $73000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
