Physical Therapist – Outpatient Rehabilitation - Kaplan, LA
Facility: Ochsner Health
Shift: Days | 5x8s | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty required
Certifications: BLS (AHA)
License: Louisiana or Compact license in hand at submission
Charting: Epic experience required
Patient Volume: Approximately 10 visits/day
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience and prior travel experience.
- Outpatient rehabilitation experience; occasional inpatient coverage may be required.
- Experience with orthopedic, neurological, and rehabilitation conditions.
- Knowledge of post-operative cervical and spinal surgery, shoulder repairs, total hip and knee replacements, and spinal conditions.
- Experience treating stroke, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, muscular dystrophy, and generalized weakness.
- Skilled in body mechanics, home exercise programs, and patient/family education.
