Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a day-shift assignment requiring Epic EMR experience and BLS certification.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Monday-Thursday schedule, 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM-4:00 PM), with potential for Friday acute PT coverage
- Facility closed on holidays with no call or weekend shifts required
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- LA state PT license required, if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with orthopedic and neurologic patient populations, including post-op care, joint replacements, spinal conditions, and stroke rehabilitation
- Proficiency with modalities such as cryotherapy, e-stim, moist heat, TENS, and ultrasound
- Experience with assistive devices, gait training, and wheelchair assessments
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning for an outpatient orthopedic and neurologic caseload
- Black scrubs required
- Open to first-time travelers

- Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
