Registered Dietician (RDN) / Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN)

Summit Healthcare Staffing is looking for a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) to join our client's team in a full-time, in-person role in Rockland County. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience in a supportive environment. New graduates are welcome to apply, and training will be provided.

We’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, personable, and excited to help clients make healthier choices through practical, straightforward nutrition guidance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct brief 15–30 minute nutrition counseling sessions with clients

• Create practical, basic meal plans based on pre-existing client assessments

• Review grocery product lists and provide guidance to ensure they align with nutrition best practices

• Educate clients on practical, achievable nutrition choices

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of counseling sessions and recommendations

• Work collaboratively with our team to support clients and program goals

Requirements

• RDN or CDN credentials

• New graduates are encouraged to apply

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable working directly with clients

• Organized, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to translate nutrition guidelines into simple, practical recommendations
