They are seeking a sharp Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney in Greensboro to represent physicians, hospitals, and healthcare systems in high-stakes professional liability claims while maintaining a true "family-first" culture.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead medical malpractice defense strategies for healthcare providers, nursing homes, and hospital systems.

• Direct medical record analysis and partner with expert witnesses to build technical defense theories.

• Conduct and defend depositions of plaintiffs, treating physicians, and technical experts.

• Draft and argue high-level dispositive motions, including summary judgment and Daubert/Rule 702 motions.

• Prepare for and second-chair or lead civil trials in state and federal courts.

• Deliver direct risk reporting and strategic updates to insurance claims professionals and hospital risk managers.

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of civil litigation experience, specifically in medical malpractice or complex insurance defense.

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Active license and good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.

• Deep medical literacy with the ability to translate complex clinical data into persuasive legal arguments.
