We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Counter Rental Sales Associate to join our Lakeland Linder team! In this role, you will be the friendly face and expert guide for customers exploring rental options. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will drive sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure a seamless rental experience. This position is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience while assisting with rental reservations, vehicle pickups and returns, upgrades, and ancillary products.

Schedule can vary based on rental volume. Weekend availability required.

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service

• Process rental reservations, agreements, pickups, and returns

• Explain rental options, policies, and available products

• Offer vehicle upgrades and ancillary products

• Answer customer questions and resolve issues professionally

• Coordinate with the washbay/lot attendant to ensure vehicles are ready

• Inspect and document vehicle condition when needed

• Move vehicles when necessary

• Maintain accurate customer and rental records

• Keep the counter and customer area clean and organized

• Follow Avis Budget Group policies and operating procedures

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

• Reliable transportation

• Excellent customer-service and communication skills

• Basic computer skills

• Professional appearance and positive attitude
