Warehouse Worker – Metals Distribution

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Warehouse Associate to join our client’s metals distribution center in Appleton, WI. In this active, hands-on role, you will safely move raw materials, operate material handling equipment, pick and bundle orders, and operate precision cutting equipment to meet customer specifications.

Position –Warehouse Worker

Job Location –Appleton, WI

Starting Date –ASAP

Employment Term –Temp to hire

Employment Type –Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift

Starting Pay –$19 to 20/hr

Required Experience –At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Material Handling & Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and remote-controlled overhead cranes to move metal pipe, tubing, and bar stock throughout the facility.
• Order Processing & Staging: Accurately pull, stage, and bundle orders for shipment using metal banding equipment and hand tools.
• Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload outbound and inbound trailers using forklifts and overhead cranes according to safety protocols.
• Precision Measuring & Cutting: Read a tape measure, check tolerances, and operate automated band saws to cut materials to precise customer dimensions.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect product specifications, including length, outer diameter, and wall thickness, ensuring high accuracy before dispatch.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift or warehouse experience is required
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Strong math and measuring skills
