Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient
Position Overview:
The Physical Therapist will provide individualized physical therapy services, including patient assessment, treatment planning, implementation, education, and communication, to help patients achieve their functional goals and maximize recovery.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who is open to feedback, willing to share ideas, and comfortable treating a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities :
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and functional goals.
Maintain effective communication with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and ancillary staff.
Collaborate with the healthcare team by both giving and receiving suggestions.
Provide care across a variety of patient populations and diagnoses.
Department & Patient Population
95% Outpatient
5% Long-Term Care (LTC) and Skilled Swing Bed
The therapist must be comfortable treating a broad range of patients and clinical conditions commonly seen in the facility.
Contract Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Full-time
Extension Potential: Excellent possibility of extending beyond the initial contract
