The role includes floating to acute areas as needed and offering specialized assessments such as Modified Barium Swallow Studies for adults independently.
Job Details
- Location: Outpatient clinic, outpatient setting, outpatient facility.
- Shift Schedule: Days shift from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, with approximately 40 hours per week. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, with one weekend per month on call (approximately 2 hours per day during the weekend).
- Required Qualifications: Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; current California Speech-Language Pathology license; current CPR/BLS certification; pediatric and adult outpatient experience; ability to perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently; minimum one year of experience.
- Additional Details: This position is primarily outpatient (both pediatrics and adult), with minimal work on the inpatient or acute care side. Willing to review clinicians with pending state licenses.
- Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient or acute care experience; bilingual ability in Spanish.
