Job Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures in a healthcare environment. This role involves ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable imaging services for patients, medical staff, and regulatory agencies, while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week Friday, Saturday, Sunday, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
- Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in radiologic technology, NYS Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registered, ARRT (R)CT Certification preferred, BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross), 2 years of experience in CT, and certification in radiation safety practices.
- Responsibilities include performing CT procedures as requested by referring physicians, practicing radiation safety, participating in Radiology Management System functions, providing patient education, and maintaining effective communication with medical staff.
- Skills: Attention to detail, collaboration, continuous learning, initiative, judgment/critical thinking, problem solving, quality, reliability, and technical expertise.
- Schedule: Nights, 36 hours/week Fri, Sat, Sun, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate all required certifications and licensure upon application.
