Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00/hour DOE
Location: Cartersville, GA 30120
Experience: Strong reading comprehension, attention to detail, and STRONG stand-up forklifts and computer shipping software experience.

Must clear pre-employment background check and drug screen prior to interview.

Summary: The Warehouse Shipping Specialist is responsible for processing, picking, and shipping orders accurately within a small warehouse environment. This role involves utilizing computer systems, operating material handling equipment, and manually picking orders with high precision.

Warehouse Shipping Specialist Responsibilities:

• Use computer systems and SAGE software to process and prepare shipping orders.
• Safely operate a stand-up forklift and pallet jack to move inventory and stage shipments.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight containers.
• Perform manual order picking directly from physical inventory (non-RF scanner environment).
• Inspect shipments for accuracy and maintain a tidy, organized work area.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure daily shipping goals are met.

Warehouse Shipping Specialist Skills:

• High attention to detail and strong reading comprehension for precise manual picking.
• Proficiency with SAGE or similar ERP/shipping software and general computer entry.
• Skilled operator of stand-up forklifts and manual/powered pallet jacks.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.

Warehouse Shipping Specialist Requirements:

• Previous experience in warehouse shipping, receiving, or material handling.
• Proven experience operating a stand-up forklift.
• Comfortable working without RF scanners using paper order picking methods.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and load/unload heavy freight containers as needed.
• Able to provide 2 professional references.
• Willingness to complete and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen prior to client submission.
