Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Superior Staffing is seeking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a client located in Addison, Illinois.

1st. shift

The Shipping Clerk assists in getting all necessary tasks completed for final shipment by pulling products out of inventory, weighing the boxes and retrieving the number of boxes/pallets. This position communicates closely to UPS and FedEx to notify them on how many boxes there are and how much each one weighs. The goal of the shipping helper is to assure that all the finished products are 100% correct before it reaches the customer.

· Comprehend work order to identify what specifications the order is asking for.

· Ensure that the quantities and addresses on the order are correct.

· Detect any mistakes that may be seen on the work order itself.

· Pull any releases out of inventory that need to be processed and shipped.

· Load trucks with shipment to further go to UPS and FedEx.

· Conduct monthly inventory on any boxes on the floor or on the racks.

· Be aware of all the other plant positions and know all the small details the work order refers to.

· Answer questions and configure decisions to problems as they come.

· Other duties as assigned
