Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families. The RN will coordinate and deliver patient care while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
Work Location: West Bloomfield, MI 48322
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care.
- Provide, delegate, and supervise nursing care according to patient needs.
- Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
- Develop and implement appropriate nursing care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and participate in identifying solutions when patient goals or outcomes are not met.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain professional nursing standards and quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Michigan RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- Strong clinical knowledge and nursing assessment skills.
- Ability to provide a wide range of professional nursing services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff.
- English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN preferred/required per staffing criteria.
- ACLS certification.
- TNCC certification preferred.
- Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
