Accounts Payables Clerk

Blazona Concrete Construction is seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume accounts payable processing, preferably within the construction industry, and be familiar with Acumatica ERP accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and enter high volumes of vendor invoices using Acumatica ERP.
• Accurately enter invoices based on coding provided by the Purchasing Manager.
• Verify invoice quantities, pricing, and supporting documentation.
• Identify, research, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Prepare and process weekly vendor check payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate vendor accounts.
• Track outstanding invoices, credits, and payment discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, account balances, and payment status.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical invoice records.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and other departments to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience preferred.
• Experience with Acumatica ERP strongly preferred.
• Construction accounting experience highly desirable.
• Experience with high-volume invoice processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
