Job Description
Arrow Security is looking for Event Security Officers in the Manhattan area!
**NOTE: Hours may vary, as the roles are specifically for events**
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Access Control: Verify badges, and guest lists at entrances, VIP zones, and restricted areas.
- Crowd Management: Direct guest flow, prevent bottlenecks or overcrowding, and maintain clear emergency exits.
- Patrols and Surveillance: Monitor assigned perimeters, stages, restrooms, floor levels for safety hazards or suspicious behavior.
- Conflict De-escalation: Calmly handle disputes, remove disruptive individuals, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders.
- Reporting: Complete written incident logs and activity reports for any security breaches or medical events when needed.
MUST HAVE:
- Valid NYS Security License (CANNOT EXPIRE WITHIN THE NEXT 2 MONTHS)
- Valid F01 Fireguard (CANNOT EXPIRE WITHIN THE NEXT 2 MONTHS)
- Previous experience in event security
- Professional & Customer Friendly attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable standing and walking for long periods of time
- Calm demeanor during emergency situations
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Capable of adapting to situations as they happen
