CT Technologist – Day Shift
Job Description:
The CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and evaluating medical conditions. The technologist prepares patients, operates imaging equipment, follows radiation safety protocols, and ensures accurate image acquisition and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain imaging procedures.
- Operate CT equipment and obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Follow radiation safety standards and patient identification procedures.
- Maintain accurate imaging documentation and comply with facility policies.
- Ensure patient safety and proper equipment use throughout procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience.
- ARRT certification in Radiology or CT, as specified by the facility.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Active Kansas LRT license through the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA).
- Must have successfully completed at least 2 travel contracts; first-time travelers are not accepted.
- Must reside more than 45 miles from the facility.
