You will ensure that patient demographics, emulsion markers, and examination requests are correct. This includes critiquing, orienting, and saving all pertinent images, transmitting QA-ed images to PACS, and ensuring that all images reach PACS. Your role involves performing work in a timely manner and consistently producing quality radiographic images. Patient safety is a priority; you will verify patient identity, obtain relevant patient history, verify pregnancy status before administering ionizing radiation, and assess patients' physical conditions to develop an action plan for performing examinations. You will also assess whether additional medical personnel or equipment is needed and take appropriate action, assisting patients who require extra attention and reacting to emergency situations.
