Job Summary
Xray Technologist Outpatient, working in a healthcare facility, is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using Phillips equipment for X-ray and Fluoroscopy, as well as Fuji portable imaging. The role involves working evenings on a set schedule, including weekends and holidays, to support patient care and diagnostic needs.
Job Details
Certifications: BLS (must be American Heart Association), ARRT, and VA license are required
Education and Experience: No minimum years of experience specified, but 2 years preferred
Location Requirements: Outpatient setting, with candidates expected to work in a healthcare facility
Schedule: Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with weekends every week and holidays incorporated into the schedule
Response Submission: Candidates must be available to respond and submit application as instructed
Clinical and operational responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging procedures, operating Phillips and Fuji imaging equipment, working with Epic EMR and Visage for PACS, and adhering to hospital policies regarding cancellations and scheduling
Additional responsibilities include floor orientation, which is limited to one week, and being flexible to float as needed
